01
Coordinate workplace layouts and services
Confirm occupancy assumptions, room uses and equipment needs before fixing partitions and ceiling layouts. Coordinate building services, IT and security interfaces with the responsible specialists, and document the capacity assumptions behind proposed changes.
02
Plan fit-out around occupied areas
Where part of the building remains in use, agree access routes, noisy-work periods and service isolation arrangements. Link these constraints to procurement and installation plans so temporary measures are planned rather than improvised.
03
Make occupation a managed transition
Include testing, documentation, furniture and user move-in dependencies in the handover programme. A floor or branch should have clear release criteria, with ownership assigned for outstanding defects and operating information.
