01
Verify utility and access assumptions
Identify the evidence behind assumed service capacities, connection dates and site access. Record dependencies outside the building contract and assign a party to follow each one. These assumptions should be visible in both the risk register and the programme.
02
Plan procurement with installation in mind
Check delivery routes, storage conditions, lifting requirements and supplier attendance before equipment reaches site. Link procurement releases to approved technical information and the readiness of the receiving work area.
03
Coordinate commissioning by use
Retail, residential and industrial spaces need different acceptance criteria. Agree the test sequence and required documentation with the owner and relevant specialists. Review material durability and maintenance access against the confirmed environmental conditions of the site.
